Rigging
My Main Focus of today was to rig my character and get it ready to weight paint.
For this I first cleared my Project:
This entailed:
- checking all my naming conventions
-Clearing the history on all my objects
-Optimizing my scene to get ride of any hidden issues that
could effect my character down the line.
After this Rachel Helped me add in my rig through the rig menu.
After adding the skeleton i began to align all the joints to there position in the body model.
Useful key: pressing D allows you to move a joint instead independently of the joint.
once fully aligned i bound the skeleton to the skin.
After this step i could add the control rig.
Once my control rig was set up i had to increase the size of all his joint rings to make them visible through the model.
Once i had all the rings done i played with the model to see some of his worse bend points.

Bonus little play:
Adding light fixtures
I added these light fixtures from the Arnold rendering menu to add a bit of light to my live render view. useful tool.
